Alumni Network FAQs

Bank of America values the contributions all current and former employees have made to, our organization and for our clients, communities, and each other. The Bank of America Network was created in 2022 to provide a platform where former colleagues connect, learn the latest Bank of America news and insights, access discounts and explore career opportunities, local events, and volunteer opportunities.  

You are eligible to join the Bank of America Alumni Network if you are a former employee of Bank of America, or a predecessor company, and are eligible for rehire. At this time, former contractors and interns are not eligible to join the network. 

If you plan to retire or leave Bank of America within the next 1-2 months, you may register to join the Bank of America Alumni Network at any time; however, we will not be able to review and process your registration until after your official termination date. 

To join the Bank of America Alumni Network visit https://alumni.bankofamerica.com and click the “Register” button. You will be asked to review and consent to the Terms of Use, Privacy Notice, and to complete several required questions to assist us in the verification of your past employment with Bank of America. In addition to the required fields, there are optional questions (e.g. person number) that are helpful to easily locate your employment record and process your registration quickly. 

Once your registration is submitted, an email will be sent to acknowledge your registration and provide details for next steps. If you are a former employee, your registration will be reviewed and processed within 3 business days. 

If you are a current employee who is planning to retire or leave Bank of America, you will receive a response to your registration within 3 business days from your termination date. 

Access the homepage at https://alumni.bankofamerica.com and select “Log in”. Enter your User ID and Password. Check out your profile and consider what additional information you would like to share and complete those fields accordingly.

Please note, the more information you provide, the better we can tailor our messaging and activities for you. Your profile is visible on the Alumni Network Directory page of the Alumni Network platform and is only accessible to other verified alumni members and the Bank of America Alumni Network team who are current employees of Bank of America.

Your profile will be visible to other verified alumni members; however, you do have the option to hide certain fields if you prefer to only share certain details.

Visit the Alumni Network Directory page and enter your search criteria in the search bar. You may search for a former colleague’s first and/or last name, Line of Business, most recent Bank of America work location (city, state, or country).

To connect, select the alumni’s profile image or name. If their contact information is shared, it will be visible to you. 

Your former colleague(s) must also register to join the network.
